My granddaughter and made our 1st visit to the zoo. The polar bear was what she wanted to see the excitement on her face I will treasure forever the only upsetting thing was parking. Cost 36.00 for 3 hrs. We will busy again �
The zoo is a must see when you are in Chicago. It is free to get in the zoo, however you must likely will pay to park. It is very family friendly and the zoo itself is very clean. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The animals are easily seen. We loved the polar bear best when we were there. Please don't miss it when you live or visit Chicago!
I loved it. A lot of walking but it was nice. The only thing we didn't see the polar bear but it was a great day. The gift shop is a little pricy.
I am beyond pleased with the zoo. It was gorgeous, clean and well kept. The animals were easily seen or found if they were hiding out. We visited for the first time yesterday, and I most definitely will go back the next time we come to the city. The souvineers and food are not overpriced, and the workers are very friendly. For a free zoo I am thoroughly impressed, and the animals are evidently well taken care of. You will not be disappointed. You do have to pay for parking but for just under a 3 hour visit.. $18 is dirt chea... read more
the zoo was free we like the zoo in chicago but the traffic all the way there was awaful
It's a beautiful walk, very nicely kept the gardens are amazing and we always have a great time
Its free!!! We went late in the day and was able to see a lot of the animals, not all the cats were out. Love the gorillas, they were so funny especially the silverback.
