I've been going here as long as I can remember. Great zoo in the greatest city in the world. I can't believe some people gave it a bad review.
Very disappointed. Although the zoo opens at 7:30 they neglected to mention the animals are not out and the exhibits done open until 9:30-10:00. Chris at guest services was very rude when enquiring about the veterinarian experience that was previously posted on the website. The only positive was that it was free; however we will not return.
Spectacular
Love this day on vacation not to buzy , weather was hot . Loved bring our own food and drinks , love the new pay as you exit parking , love the new polar bear area , loved seeing all the animals
It was a beautiful day for the Zoo with my family, we parked right across from the Zoo and we enjoyed all the new exhibits, park was very clean and animals were well maintained and it was the right amount of time spent 3 hours before we headed out to grab pizza in the city.
Lovely gardens, zoo and a beach nearby! Beautiful! Easy to spend the better part of a day, so bring a picnic lunch. Parking is tricky, so get there early! If you are patient, you might get lucky with free parking.
We still love the Lincoln Park Zoo, even though so many of the animals were not visible when we came through with Greg and Grace. We will be back on a cooler day, later in the year.
