The weather was a little dreary but for the most part it was dry. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and the flower conservative was a surprise treat! Disappointed that the new polar bear and penguin area was still under construction. There was lots of activities for the kids the day that we went also! All in all the zoo was way bigger than I thought it would be! The food that we had was good for fast food. Wow I can't believe it was free. I hardly ever donate to something but I did donate for this. Keep it up. It was definitely great to visit
I loved the zoo it was a beautiful family expirience! I do wish that the animals had bigger cages. There's enough space for them to get a bigger space.
It was a beautiful day! I thought parking was free but is was $35. The animal displays were well thought out. We covered the zoo in a few hours. The signage was attractive and informational. It was fun seeing animal we don't have at Brookfield Zoo like a panther. The volunteers were friendly and informative.
What a treasure! Not at all what I expected for FREE! Awesome location, awesome exhibits, Really cool animals too! Up close and personal.
Definitely one of the best Zoo's I've ever been too. The Gorilla habitat is stunning! I definitely recommend people making this stop a priority, when visitin Chicago.
This was the highlight of our long weekend in Chicago. The Zoo is easy to get to, parking was a breeze, and the Zoo was so clean and spacious. It made for a great walk right within the city and our young girls absolutely loved it...we did too! Felt good to throw some $ in the donation bin on our way out, after such a great experience.
