The building has constant issues with pest control and the management company does nothing about it. I hate coming home because I never know what kind of insects and pests I will be forced to deal with. There are issues with rats in the parking garage and there are groups of people who sit at the front of building drinking and smoking at all hours of the day. Theft is a huge issue in this building. My grandpa lived in the building since the 70's, chronic roach problems for ten years. I thought it was just his unit, because he couldn't take care of himself very well, but seeing the reviews, I'm glad I didn't take over his lease. The building manager is a sweetheart, but Sterling Karamar is a well known slumlord. The rent for his 2 bed unit was $1,200, but after renovations, is now $2,700. DO NOT MOVE HERE. If I could give no stars I would. We signed the lease for our apartment under false pretences as we were not told the building is infested with bedbugs and cockroaches. Our health has suffered since moving in and the pest treatments provided do not work and are the most basic ones provided. SterlingKaramar are a disgrace to deal with and do not care about their tenants but perfectly ok taking their money off them stay away from them at all costs
