I am very disappointed with 1st Light Energy. As a company, it has no honor and integrity. 9 years ago, I signed a PPA agreement and leased solar panel. The installation was done by 1st Light Energy. In the beginning, I raised a concern that I need to re-roof my house in the future, and don't want to put the solar panels on my house. To help me make the decision, 1st Light Energy signed addendum with me, by its CEO JUSTIN K. KRUM, to commit remove/reinstall all the panels ONCE for X amount of cost. This company was supposed contact me about an appointment to service my solar panels within five business days of the system failing. It’s been more than a month now, every time they say someone will reach out for an appointment I wait and receive no communication. When I follow up they tell me it’s been referred, I will be contacted, etc. Still no resolution and now I have to pay my utility bill on top of my payment to the solar company. Very disappointing.
One of the worst customer service ever, this company is supposed to pay my SREC every quarter and has not been paying since two years. Not able to reach any one from the office and they do not respond to any calls/email/texts. Please do not go solar installation with this company. This company deserves negative stars in the review.
If I could give this company negative stars I would give it -50 stars! Thomas Murphy is a horrible tech agent. He's very rude and incompetent. After over a week of emailing back and forth for an appointment and him saying he would be there that ( Monday) morning. He never showed. 2 days later he finally responded to multiple emails to find out what happened. He thought he was talking to some other customer the whole time.. he finally made it out. Worst customer service EVER. I've been trying to reach these guys for almost a month now. I might have called at least 20 times and not once i was able to reach a human. I don't think anyone can get through their customer service helpline. Avoid this company, I would not even give 1 star but google won't let you post your review without a star
