Went there to celebrate my wife's birthday. My shrimp pasta Alfredo was awesome and the shrimp were huge. The bar staff and wait staff did an excellent job at seeing if we needed anything else. I'm going back!
Went to dinner after seeing a play at the Bay Street Players. Had sirloin steak, mashed potatoes and salad. The ranch dressing was excellent. Wish I could buy a bottle to take home. Our server Arielle was also attentive to r table of 4. She was patient with all our questions. First time there and would recommend the restaurant to my friends. Enjoyed the meal, steak was perfect. Would love to see one open in The Villages, Fl.
I attend a Surprise Birthday Party at 1884 on Saturday, February the 17th. And I did ALL the decorating the back upstairs of approximately 30 people. Spent most of my Saturday there preparing for the great surprise for my friend, Marianne Gay. Her husband Bill is so wonderful for even planning this party for her. The morning manager, Trey was the best! He was our bartender and food server....I thought he did an excellent job and his service was amazing. ****ATTENTION CAUTION FUTURE APPLICANTS OF 1884******* I would think twice while they have the current management in place. Backstory: I come from Margaritaville at city walk universal the last year and have served tables off and on through out highschool and college. Plus my Oklahoma hospitality had never served me wrong when waiting tables. I only work part time for the extra cash, and loved universal for the tickets. Food, atmosphere and service were all good. Had not been since they first opened. Will definitely return again soon and more often.
First time going. I liked the atmosphere, customer service was good that is a plus drink didn't go dry. The fried mushrooms were great. Sushi was good. It was good all around looking forward to the next visit
