Hidden Gem at the foothills of major ski resorts. Clean rooms. Great service. Winter views are spectacular. There is nothing like getting into the natural hot springs on a cold day, surrounded by all the snow on the mountains. It is 20 min from Carson City and all the casinos. Great location to spend your weekend or ski week. Staff is very friendly.
where do I start? Got locked out of our room at 3 AM with ALL OF OUR BELONGINGS and security told us there is nothing he can do and accused us of not even staying there!!! and we would have to wait for hours in the lobby. Very rude man. And he said that the problem was we were out at 3am as if there's a curfew! Bugs and spiders too. What kind of hotel does not have anyone up front to unlock doors?!!
We were disappointed with the entire experience. Hidden costs (we were assured the price when booking included all fees, then they charged a $40 “resort fee” once on site and wouldn’t do anything about it), the shameless attempt at selling us a timeshare upon check in (required to talk to the salespeople to get your parking pass!! We declined and they had the audacity to call the room the next morning at 8:30am to try to sell it again!), truly uncomfortable and small beds with flat tiny pillows and scratchy sheets and thin b... read more
