Excellent food. Every meal has been great. Overlooking Lake Skaneateles beautiful views. Inside is all wood knotted pine, beautiful. In the winter they have a coal burning stove inside the back dining room, blows a lot of warm air, really toasty. In the summer dine outback on the deck overlooking the lake. Nice relaxing restaurant.
Love this place!! The food, the atmosphere and the owner (chef) and staff create a wonderful dining experience. This is one of our favorite restaurants in the Skaneatelis area. Scrumptious!!

Very cozy atmosphere with a beautiful view of the lake. The owners are warm and friendly and offer such an amazing menu to choose from. I had the shrimp borodino which was excellent and my family and friends all enjoyed their meals as well. My friends love the food so much they visit on a weekly basis. It was a great experience and can't wait to go back!!

The 1820 never disappoints! Beautiful veiws and the food is always outstanding!
Amazing view, cozy and romantic atmosphere, very good food (especially the main entrees, the appetizers didn't get us much excited). Only problem: the wait! One hour for the appetizer and another hour for the main course. With two children at the table you would expect a little more attention. Maybe this doesn't happen all the time and we were just unlucky. Other than that we enjoyed our night a lot.
