RecommendedSo great to see the last show of last year’s This Is The Week That Is this week at the lovely Plays and Players Theater. Tight writing, witty commentary, snappy singing and dancing, and a brisk pace with lots of visual variety and audience interaction made this a show that engaged Gen X, Z and Millennials—although some of us didn’t recognize Kellyanne Conway as Goldilocks.
Laughter in a world needing more good spirits
Went to go see their newest comedy "The God Project" and it was amazing. Being a pastor the level of detail the dialogue went into was spot on - but what made the play truly special was it's cast and authenticity. You could really believe such a story happened. All the performers were spot on - wonderful performances - we were laughing non-stop. And the venue was beautiful. Not a bad seat in the house. Can't wait to continue to go to future plays.
I just saw the God Project preview on Sunday. Good show! As always, Jen Childs is a brilliant playwright.
Always an entertaining way to spend an evening -- we never met a show we didn't like/love ;)
Their theme is “The world needs more comedy,” and they deliver the laughs with every production!
