I relocated from Florida and needed to register my out of state car, have a VIN inspection and get a smog test. I didn’t want to wait 60 days for an appointment , nor did I want to spend my entire day sitting at the DMV so I searched online and found that at this location they offer DMV services inside Newport motors. 2.5 weeks after dropping off all required materials, I am now having issues getting anyone to tell me anything about the status of my registration. "Oh, you should have been told the DMV were having computer issues", I wasn't. "When we go over today (yesterday), we will ask about your specific case and give you a call"...no call. I call today and "Tony isn't in, when he comes in we will give you a call"....I'm not holding my breath.
Daryl has a great attitude! He got my smog done quick, and even helped guide me through the registration process.
Unless you have 4 weeks to get jerked around with no communication or help, avoid at all costs… Edit: To be more specific James, the total process took four weeks due to your team's broad disorganization and inability to communicate. The whole purpose of this existing is to save time and effort in getting a DMV services done, the opposite couldn't be more true.
