The dinner started out great. By the time we ordered dessert the restaurant was really busy and we were forgotten about. 1776 needs to learn how to multitask when it gets chaotic.
This is our "go to place " for our special celebrations. It is also our "go to place" when we just want great service and great food. A gem!

The atmosphere is wonderful. Don't let the strip mall outside appearance fool you. It is cozy and lovely inside. The service is exceptional and the food is impeccable!! It's a bit on the pricey side but ABSOLUTELY worth it. This is my favorite steakhouse in the state! They take reservations which I love, although they are not required. Do yourself a favor and eat here. It's a hidden gem!
Best steak I have ever had. The filet mignon is incredible, the service impeccable, and atmosphere perfection. I will definitely be back.

Great service, great food! Had the Grilled Oysters, Escargot, Prime Rib and Black Ravoili with shrimp & crabmeat. Excellent! Our 1st time there. Will definitely be back again!
Was disappointed made reservations did not want to eat in bar area food was good attitude was bad service was ok.waiter received a 50 dollar tip.eate in better places with less attitude would not have made a reservation if we.could.not afford it wanted to eat with table cloth why we made reservations
