not really polite and friendly people.
After getting my CDL with 160 I got hired pretty quick. As a new driver I made a stupid mistake with that company and was let go. I thought my career might be over before it really started. I had the thought to contact one of my old instructors (aka. MOOSE). We talked briefly. Once he understood my situation he pulled out his phone, made one call and had the owner of a local trucking company talking to us both on speaker phone. Would strongly urge potential drivers to seek training elsewhere as this is quite possibly the worst program available. What is supposed to only be a 4-week program takes as long as two months to complete, with some students saying they were there for multiple weeks without a single day of training from the instructors. Students are only given a script to read from in order to learn the pre-trip inspection, but the script is riddled with inaccuracies and much of the most crucial information is missing. Won't tell you how much tuition cost on the website. Cost of services is pretty basic info, no excuses for that
Quite the racket they have going here. I have a very close friend that just attended this school and was excited to get his cdl and get to work. He busted his azz studying the course and passed the classroom. Then came the skills test, and this is where they hook you. They don't give the students any time on the course for practice. Just put them in the truck and then they are overly strict, or outright deceptive when it comes to grading their performance.
