I just graduated from 160 Driving Academy and it was a great experiences to be able to fulfill the dream. I had my whole life. The people at 160 did everything they could to help me pass the permit test and the exam with the state examiner and I was prepared everywhere along the way I want to thank Joe Branch Manager Rick, the lead instructor and the instructors Jim ken Lawerence and GERALD
I would like to thank the yard staff in West Allis, I started at the Waukegan location to get my permit portion completed but after that, I went to West Allis to get my portion complete for the yard section. I would like to thank ric, Jim, Lawrence, jerrold, and ken, everyone really knows their stuff, these guys have been around the industry for quite a while, all are very informative, and helpful too. This is a very direct teaching school. The instructors are all very good at what they do. They drive information into you to have the tools needed to get a cdl license. You may sit around a little bit. But it gives you time to watch others and learn and go over pre trip and in cab inspections. If you want one on one training that will cost more, there are programs out there for that. But for the money and time, this place I would recommend to anybody.
Absolutely wonderful experience. I cannot give enough praise to the instructors at 160 driving, Jim, Laurence, Rick, and Gerald. They really went through it all thoroughly and when I went to test I felt confident in my ability to handle the tractor trailer. I highly recommend 160 driving to anyone interested in gaining your CDL.
160 Driving Academy was what I was looking for. I needed to get in ASAP and get out ASAP. Getting out actually took time, but there were factors that contributed to that. I was able to start the week after speaking to a representative. Classroom was a bit boring and long but it was worth it. There is a lot more to truck driving then you think.
