I do not eat out much but when we go out we look for a local spot, not often will we go for a chain type restaurant. We have been to most all the local gotta eat places here in Elmira and always have a good experience. I am a pretty standard eater, when I go out I get a steak and sides so it’s pretty easy to get it right for me. But, I was blown away with how good the steak I ordered was cooked. Hands down the best I have ever had. Will recommend to everyone I know and we will be back!
Food is great, staff is friendly. Joe makes it the place I want to go for a nice dinner. I'm not easily impressed as I've spent a lot of my adult life in the food business, and I love that so much of their food is scratch made, not frozen! You'd be amazed at how many high end places can't say that.
Very good, family run. I really enjoyed getting to know Joe the owner, and bartender while I ate. Good was very good, service was great. Highly recommend this little gem. It's tucked away, but very much worth the trip.
What a great place to eat! Generous portions, attentive staff and all around great atmosphere! Will return again for dinner. Almost forgot, if you don’t get dessert, it’s your own fault! Fabulous peanut butter pie! Thank you for a great experience! �
