The staff is hardly manageable. Didn’t get all of my Security deposit back when I left the place better than when I moved into it. Air conditioning constantly broke, washer tore up clothes, broke and was super small loads. Fire alarms going off during work week and weekends random hours of the night. I do not recommend living here. It’s way too expensive when you can move into another place one or two blocks up the road to not have to deal with the reasons above.
The longer I live here, the more I love about the building. Administratively, the front office folks are always very pleasant and helpful. Location-wise, I don't think there's a better place in the city. Many people know that the building is located along the light rail, but the walk ability, friendly neighbors, and restaurant options are terrific. My roommate and I moved in just about a month ago and can't think of a single complaint. Our apartment is beautiful, high quality and actually less expensive than many other properties we viewed. The rooftop terrace had the best view in town and the lobby smells amazing and fresh. I take the light rail to work and absolutely love the convenience of walking out my door and being uptown in about 5-10 minutes. I just moved in to 1100 South about a month ago after just graduating college and getting a job in Charlotte. My roommate and I absolutely love it here! The entire application and move-in process was seamless and easy, and the leasing agent we worked with was incredibly helpful. The administration in the front office is always super friendly and and keep the complex running smoothly. The location is unbeatable and there are always fun social events planned for the residents that we're looking forward to participating in!
Great location. Wait, AMAZING location. Excellent features. Friendly staff. Love this place.
