We've been living at 1000 for almost four years, it’s always felt like a safe and respectful place to call home. But lately, a group of teenagers, who clearly don’t live here have been treating our building like their personal playground. They’ve been playing with the "Knock and run game", and leaving a mess in the party room. I am shocked to read the negative reviews about 1000 Mount Pleasant. I have lived in the building since it opened and have always been impressed by the way it is cared for. The lobby, laundry room, and utility areas on each floor are well maintained. Work orders are taken care of quickly and efficiently. Geoffrey, the building superintendent, is always courteous and helpful. He works very hard to keep common areas clean and smelling fresh. Their management is incredibly disorganized, useless and slow. If you request for some basic paperwork or god fobid some maintenance you have to call 20 time’s following up and submit another 20 letters in until your lucky enough to receive the service or the documents you needed.
