Eric of 1 Stop Carpet Care did an EXCELLENT job stretching our carpet and removing the rolls appearing on the floor. He moved all the heavy furniture, very pleasant and professional. We went with this contractor based on price and previous good reviews but did not have a good experience. He didn't show for our appointment so we texted him after a couple of hours. Said he forgot about it, and arrived an hour later. Things happen and we were flexible with our schedule so that was ok. He stretched our carpet and then cleaned it. While cleaning it, ran a generator from his van too close to our open garage/door to our home, causing fumes to blow into our home and carbon monoxide detectors to go off and occupa... read more
Our carpet stretch ended up being more complicated than intended due to some poorly-installed tack strips by the original installer. Eric did a fantastic job stretching the carpet, replacing the tack strips, and generally cleaning up someone else's less-than-perfect installation.
