You guys are a bunch of idiots for using rebar and chain. You guys need to hire a very good lawyer because whoever engineered that piece of shit should get their ass kicked!
You almost kill someone with your lack of work! You don't need to be building bikes, you need to be doing concrete jobs!
The fact that you expected welded chain links regardless of that rebar axel to be able to withstand that sort of side loading makes you just as dumb as him honestly. That being said if it was listed as anything other then a non functional display piece, even someone dumb enough to accept delivery of this steaming pile of shit will have an easy day in court.
