This company has a tendency to quote one price over the phone but charge you extra during pickup. The owner is not friendly at all. One of the employees didn’t want to have me speak with the owner because I was told “He can be nasty!” Thats says a lot about who you are supporting! I’ll take my business elsewhere. The only reason they manage to stay open and keep the customer base they have is because this is the only seafood spot that still accepts ebt.
Business response:
You will have to elaborate on the extra charge because we have a set price on everything but many don't understand that there is tax that needs to be added. As for getting ahold of the owner I find it odd because I'm the owner. I haven't been there this past week so We do a great job because we have a great staff who work with our customers but unfortunately we have to charge tax and we don't quote that what the tax would be on the phone.
There food is the best! I have had the breaded shrimp, soft crabs, steamed shrimp, eggs, and the oysters 🦪.
Last 2 times I have ordered crabs from here have been disappointing. They did not have any taste and several in a dozen have been mushy/mealy. Used to be the best place for crabs, have definitely goon downhill.
Ordered a 1/2 bushel of med/large crabs for a family party. ALL of the crabs were cooked twice & mealy. Before this I never had a bad experience, but after today, I’ll be searching for a different seafood place 😔
Not my first time & definitely won't be last. Treated myself to a dozen of your mediums tonight, they were heavy, fresh & delicious! Keep up the good work & crabbies! 🦀🦀🦀🦀
This place is good but pricey for what you get. A dozen "large" crabs was ridiculously expensive and they were not that large, at least not for the price in my opinion. The platters were also over priced but the food truly was delicious. I mean, the jumbo shrimp were so juicy and the fried fish and clams as well. We enjoyed our meal, even though the prices were a bit high.. Overall, the place is expensive but food is good and service was acceptable. I'd come back for the platters but probably not the crabs.
1 Fish 2 Fish is our favorite seafood carryout, you know you're getting quality crabs every time. Never reheats.
after weeks of getting hung up on I finally was able to place an order.. good news?? no. I got home and my order was wrong and now there close smh!

We never would hang up on anyone. However we do have voice recordings that will answer to tell you we have closed for the day. If we gave you the order wrong we are sorry as we have been dealing with business being 4 times as busy since covid and with our new protective measures it can make doing business difficult. You can just call us today after we open at 11 and we would have been happy to have fixed it. We'll have 1000 orders go out in a day so I apologize cause I know mistakes happen.
