If you can have your house rented through someone else - do it.
Real International has been my property manager for more than 12 years now. They always do a good job and minimized the hassle for me as the landlord. Lately our tenant moved out and left the property in a poor condition. Stacey Prince and Zoie Youngblood of Real International worked closely with me and contractors to reduce the cost of repairs, resulting in savings for me and the tenant. A property management company should protect the landlord’s interests, but Real International Realty has repeatedly made decisions that benefit the tenants at our expense. If you value your investment, I’d recommend finding a company that actually enforces policies and takes real action when tenants default.
Don’t rent from these people. I’d give zero stars if I could. We went through their approved process of getting a subleaser and were told that there were no fees involved which was also reflected in our lease agreement which I attached a picture of. When we left we did everything they asked including hiring professional cleaners, and moving out early while continuing to pay rent for the days that we weren’t occupying the home so they could “prepare the home” for the new tenants.
