I'm here to support Zulu Contractors with a positive review because I'm so happy about how my home turned out after the water leak and remodel and I want to see the business succeed. I was with a different company for almost 6 months before hiring Zulu. This company did next to nothing except for collecting insurance money. I wanted to pull my hair out. SHORT VERSION: Awful experience. Small project dragged on six months with poor communication, unapproved work, and substantial charges for work never completed. A wonderful company. They knew exactly what my insurance was required to cover at the bare minimum to what Zulu had the ability to require. It was a huge difference - over 50k. Our estimator, made it so I got the right work done AND covered by ************ project manager that was assigned for my repairs was such a help. I recently had had a flooring catastrophe after my waterline froze and had to work with Zulu for an insurance house restoration, and I couldn't be happier with the results. Zulu contractor recommended by ********************** (which had done a good job). Foolishly assumed Zulu would be as good as Deep Water.Estimator for Zulu was fine. Only later found out he was contracted to provide the estimate. Work performed by Zulu was terrible. Tech left baseboard 1.5 inch from the wall. Did not caulk baseboard. Only partially painted baseboard.
