I am so saddened by the decline in quality at Zoyo Mesa. I’ve been coming here for over a decade, and lately it’s become really disappointing. I visited on July 11, and the store was dirty, three frozen yogurt flavors were out of service, and many of the syrups weren’t stocked. I ended up getting a pint of plain tart frozen yogurt and putting my toppings in a to-go cup. What I thought was strawberry syrup turned out to be something salty. We went in with a MTV track card of buy one and get 2nd cup half off and they didn't want to honor it. Mind you we got this card last year and it's supposed to expire July 31st. We used it once before and this was our 2nd time trying to use it and the man didn't want to honor the card. He mentioned that he doesn't know who approved of the card BUT WHY WAIT a month before expiration to decide they don't want to honor it anymore?? It sounds shady. Froyo fine. Service horrible. We had a current track card from MTV and they didn't honor it. My sister and I were celebrating, we had to pay $19 because they didn't accept the half off. Not a nice thing to do. Don't go expecting them to keep their commitment.
Everything was going fine and enjoying our dessert. Then a family of 3 walked in with their dog! We noticed that young lady (cashier) looked surprised and hesitant to say anything to them while they walked around and serving themselves. She never made a comment to the dad or mom. I asked the young lady before we walked out if dogs were allowed to come in. She hesitated in responding. Then, she said she thought it was a service dog.
