Came in today and ROBIN MCGOWAN seen me . Told him I had went to emergency weeks prior with no luck. Instead of finding out what else could be going on, he insisted on prescribing me something for a virus I already tested negative for. After telling him multiple times I tested negative for that and asking him to test for other possible things which he refused he ended my visit and still prescribed me something I didn’t need. Went in for a rehydration IV with strep. Was there for 3 hours. I was left alone for about half of that time just waiting. It seemed like communication between the providers was really bad and lots of random people were in and out of my room. They coerced me into an unnecessary CT scan which felt like an upsell - I was too sick to properly consent and this is not standard protocol for strep treatment - this also happened to my sister at a different zoom care.
The doctor was excellent. Very empathetic and patient. I felt like I was in good hands.
Everyone was kind, helpful, efficient and informative. Positive atmosphere to be treated in. One suggestion: new stretcher/table for room 7.
