Beware! Get a 2nd opinion if they say your child needs a lot of dental work done! My two children, 1 was told he needs 2 caps for 2 cavities, the other child was told 4 caps and a root canal. We obtained a 2nd opinion from another pediatric dentist in Nashville and the results were way different. The child who needed 2 caps now has “completely healthy teeth” with no need of a filling or even a cavity noted. The other child had 1 tooth filled and 1 tooth removed, which is better than 4 teeth.
