My babies have been coming to this location since I gave birth to them and I have never had an issue with any of the staff up until today when one of the older female physicians (Dr. Conn) came into the room and made a unwarranted and rude comment regarding my daughters hair and why “black women” hair is the way it is. The nurses and front desk staff are always good to us but I won’t tolerate anyone feeling the need to be rude and place an opinion where it was not needed. Dr Elamaari has always been great towards us, very considerate and attentive when telling us what we need to know and when we have questions or doubts, what options we have and what he can help with. I have always felt his support towards his patient and me as the family member. He has been a very good Doctor from the beginning. The rest of the medical staff is friendly and helpful. Worst experience EVER! Our appointment was at 9am, by 9:40 we had moved from waiting area to waiting area. Anywhere else I’ve been or taken my children it’s normally pre-verified, first red flag. Instead of expressing that she was having an issue, she sat confused. I finally walked up to see what was the hold up explained they were still attempting to verify insurance. We have been patients of Zoe Pediatrics for several years now, the Williams Road location in Columbus. The last 2 visits, which we had appointments for, were very time consuming, mainly the wait in the waiting room and the wait in the exam room. The waiting room wait was approximately 45 minutes and the wait in the patient room was about 30 minutes. I know they are busy, but it's just been taking an extra long time lately.
