I attempted to have a prescription transferred here, and when I came to pick it up, questioned if they would fill it in a generic brand instead. The response was so real, so kind and so informative. They took the time, with a line behind me, to explain how it all works- how places like Meijer, CVS, or Walmart can dispense generic for cheaper. This is an elevated pharmacy boutique experience in the heart of Royal Oak. I love that they have their own parking and are able to compound for both animal and human prescriptions. My only struggle has been getting their text notifications - I keep requesting they add me and still receive nothing so I have to manually call for my prescription status. Prices are higher and rarely quoted before they fill your order so be prepared for that. Otherwise we love ZMC.
I have been using ZMC Pharmacy for many many years and have loved their service but today they went above and beyond. I went away on vacation and forgot a compounded prescription that cannot be refilled where I’m at. They are filling it today and shipping it UPS or FedEx, whichever is more cost-effective (thank you for that) so that I am not without my prescription for more than a day or two. So grateful for their assistance.
Every time I go there to pick up my prescription. I’m always waiting for a long period of time. I know they saw me standing there but they still ignored me. I wish I could give them 0 stars.
