The employees in the store in Norfolk are so unprofessional , rude, and unapologetic, when having to deal customers. 1 year they lost approximately $500.00 worth of clothing and could not find those items until a month later. they offered to pay for the items, but I told them i would rather have my clothes back. they did finally find my clothes. This place literally sucks. Took 13 pieces in which just happened to be uniform shirts and pants. Dropped them off on a Friday evening at 4:30 and asked for heavy starch and creased patches. Picked them up at 2pm, which is when they said they were ready, and the shirt patches were crooked to no end and the pants had railroad tracks. What I don’t understand is how you can’t take the time to line up with the creases that are already in the dang pants! I've been a Zips Customer for a very long time. I recently had a problem with one of my shirts being damaged while being serviced there. The 1st problem was the manager on duty acted very nonchalant, showed no empathy and did not even apologize for the damage to my garment. Secondly, Its been almost a month and NO ONE has called concerning my claim! For me Zips has always been about convenience and price so subpar customer service has been tolerated until now. The worse dry cleaners ever. I dropped off 2 brand new suits to be pressed. When i picked them up, they looked worse. I have witnessed them losing items. The customer service is horrible at best. I have called several times and left a couple of messages, of course no one called me back. I try to support minority business owners, but this is one I can't continue to support. I have read other poor reviews and they have no desire to correct the deficiencies.

I'm really disappointed been using them since they came to the area but on Halloween I dropped off on of my favorite 3 piece suits for a business trip only to have them almost give me one someone else's blazer that belongs to a woman but I've filled out paperwork and you would think someone from the main corporate office in Fredericksburg would come in and for people's clothes they didn't find they would at least reach out and call and they did no such thing also went back last night and still no pants. Friendly Manager’s staff inexperienced Today I got out of line with about $80 of dry cleaning because there were three people in front of me that had lost items and the sign on the door referenced equipment breakdowns which have been consistent at least for a couple of months. SMH
