Be careful Zips is definitely less expensive than other dry cleaners, but you get what you pay for (and may end up paying more to repair or replace damaged items!) I had been warned against Zips by friends who had items damaged, but I was drawn in by the attractive price. On my second visit, however, I had a pair of pants ruined, and the management was entirely unconcerned - no reimbursement, no refund, not even an apology. I don't recommend Zips.
They ruined my shirts!!! AND they are VERY RUDE!!! Despite a specific request to properly press my shirts, this group of incompetents CANNOT PRESS A COLLAR PROPERLY! When I complained, I was VERY RUDELY treated. They have forever lost a customer! AND I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THEM!
Good Dry Cleaning I occassionally need to get some pieces of clothing (mainly business suits) dry cleaned, and always trust my items to Zips Dry Cleaners. They do a good job, and don't try and rip me off like other cleaners do. I usually get all of my suits done (5 in total) for a total of about $40. I've gotten them done at other cleaners, and the quality is not as good. It's a little bit of a drive for me to go there, but well worth it.
good dry cleaners This dry cleaners has a very nice location, right on Route 1 across the Laurel Mall. You can clean any garment for $1.85 and shirts are laundered for $1.09. The price increased 10 cents from what it was before. Also everwhere else you can get shirts dry clean for 99 cents. There is ample parking in the parking log. They also have another policy, if you get your clothes in by 9 AM out by 5 PM. There quality is good, but you never know, you might have to go back to them to get it properly cleaned. Great Price We never had any problems with Zips Dry Cleaners and we love the price. We have saved tons of money since we started going there. All the clothes come back clean and wrinkle free. You can't beat the price.
You Get What You Pay For If you want it fast and don't care about quality, then this is the place for you. Shirts are $1.09 and can be turned around in one day. But expect a poor job, iron burns, missing buttons and creases where you didn't have them. These folks work in volume and quality is not their forte. You'll take a chance with dry cleaning as well. So if you value your clothes, take it to a traditional drycleaner.
Great location I've been going to this cleaner for the past year. It's pretty big and the prices are very reasonable. The lines can get really long but there is a lot of staff in order to cut down the wait time. I like how the prices are afforable you don't have to cut coupons. However, i don't think they do a good job on pretty bad stains. I had a wine stain on my blouse and it didn't go away and I brought it to another cleaner and they had no problem getting it out.
Good Dry Cleaner For The Price Zips is an average dry cleaner with very cheap prices. I do not take expensive clothes there, but the service is good for laundering blouses or collared shirts. They haven't lost or ruined my clothing, although I've heard from friends that they don't trust the service. Zips is usually a fast process, in by 9 out by 5, the same day.
