If I could give this business a negative review, I would. This car wash used to operate under the name Big Wave Express until they were bought out by Zips in 2021. Service used to be good under Big Wave Express. However, since the buyout, customer service has plummeted. I travel once a year for an extended period of time. I used to be able to pause my membership (under Big Wave Express) so I didn't pay for a service I wasn't using. Zips car wash in Knoxville on Kingston Pike. It’s just too much you just can’t go there anymore and get regular car wash. They keep trying to push these damn memberships on you and it makes the experience of going to a car wash completely not fun. I feel like I’m going to a timeshare seminar every time I go to a car wash just let me do my car wash and leave me alone.
very friendly, very fast, Zips car wash on farrow parkway, Myrtle Beach is excellent. Agnes is great. It is quick and easy, in and out, with great results
The 2nd level car wash is $24, which I thought was kinda high but on top of that, the attendant wasn’t standing at the entrance of the wash and yelled to me to stop. Then when we got through, the vacuums on the opposite side of the building weren’t even working and there were no garbage cans unless you go to the vacuums next to the building. Plus there’s no vacuums on each side so have to move once you get one side done. Don’t waste your money. Buccees is much better.
I went to get my car washed at your Forest, VA location the morning of July 8th. As usual, a Zips employee was standing at the car wash payment and wash selection area to what I mistakenly thought was to assist in moving cars along. The guy wanted to sell me an unlimited pass for 3 months for $25. I told him I did not live there and was not interested. No stars. I went through the car wash and paid for a wash to include free use of the vacuum cleaners. I was first astounded at the price of the "best" wash at $30. Because it was raining when I went through, I found out afterwards the staff doesn't turn on the vacuum cleaners in the rain because of damage that may occur. I appreciate that. I would avoid this company at all costs. I have found their customer service to be nearly non-existent and when you do get someone that you think can help you, they are extremely incompetent. I purchased a yearly membership, changing from a monthly membership. Paid $240, tried to redeem the membership and their system said 'link expired'. Won't even let me create a new account either. To say I am completely disgusted would be an understatement. I took both my new Volvo and Kia Seltos through Zips on Sharkey way in Lexington Kentucky just prior to Christmas. There was about a 3 hour difference in when we took our white Kia through vs. our black Volvo. leaving the business with the Volvo around 3:30 in the afternoon, I went directly to a hair appointment.
