BUYER BEWARE!!! Our experience with Zippy Shell of Des Moines was horrible. PLEASE do not make the mistake that we did of entrusting your valuables to their care. Our household belongings were in storage with them for 7 months and when we took delivery, everything was dirty, wet and rat infested! We were appalled to find out that the two containers had not been stored in a secure, climate controlled warehouse as promised. Process is very slow for moving an entire home because Zippy doesn’t bring multiple trucks/pods. They fill up one and then have to go drop it off, load another empty one and return. They ran out of time and so rushed to cram everything in at the end of their shift. We have had a claim in for damaged materials for 8 months and still not one person has returned our calls or emails about it. Communication wasn't the best on Zippy's end. We moved from CA to Iowa. A few hiccups with the timing on the CA end, but guys who assisted me in the unloading of the shells, James and Robert were very helpful and courteous with getting settled in.

My daughters shell was picked up today with no notice and she still has moving boxes and a bed to add. No one is returning her calls for help with this. She will be delayed from starting her new job because of this company.
