Used to be a great place to gather, eat and socialize before owner, Ralph died. It has gone down hill. Food is greasy. {butter and oil floating on top of food} Toast centers are almost liquid from excess butter. Bacon is floppy and limp. Even the ketchup is the Monarch low quality strange taste ketchup. Even with this I still patronized the business until they put up their "NO CONCEALED CARRY" sign. Lousy service. We sat in the bar area and had to walk up there or yell across our order. The bartenders could not be bothered to walk a few feet outside of the bar. Forget about being asked if you want another drink or anything else.

It's okay, but... – Zippers food is okay but nothing to write home about. Breakfast is good but then everything falls apart. The best food i've had in lincolnton is across the parking lot at L&L Southern Cafeteria (between Belks and Bilo). That's some incredible food at great prices. Near perfection.
Food – Went for the Wed. Wings for 35 cent each as seen in the local paper. Well they are 40 cents now. Got 10 of them with blue cheese. Blue cheese was a packet of blue cheeses dressing (bad tasting). Wings were frozen and half black inside (not fresh wings). Worst wings in town. Only thing good is the beer and vegetables (not hard to mess up). Hate to say it, but best to go to the mexican rest-area-food-place.
Smoke free now!!! – Great food at great price. Non smooking. Breakfast is best...country ham.
Zippers has some great food. You can get breakfast all day which is a big plus in our family. They have really good down home food. The only problem is that they allow smoking.
Not perfect, but a good place to eat, especially for breakfast. Nestled in the Walmart parking lot, this little place often goes unnoticed, but it's worth stopping by. Give it a try.
