STILL growing this catastrophe out that the owner caused my hair. I received a haircut that was horrible and I'm still trying to grow it out nine months later. I wanted a dusting of my ends, but left with short layers that I never wanted; they weren't even blended well. They also left color solution in my hair by not rinsing it out thoroughly so my hair was purple/brown for two weeks versus platinum. Back in May, I visited a salon for a curly perm, enjoying a wonderful experience that lasted about six hours. I generously tipped my stylist, respecting not just her skill but also her time. Understanding my hair type and its challenges, I was disheartened to notice a few weeks later that some sections of my hair remained completely straight. I had my first curly cut with Lily & my son also had his first curly hair trim with Lily. I learned so much about our hair types, how to style it, & which products do (& don’t) work for our hair. I also understand WHY I have struggled to properly care for our waves & curls. So many lightbulb moments! Lily took her time with us & my entire family felt welcomed, wanted & comfortable. My son even started dozing off in the chair because he was so relaxed! I cannot recommend her enough.
