Took my car there to get the alignment and balance checked... because my wheel was shaking at 60+mph. they put my tires on the balancer and told me all 4 rims were bent. I called my mechanic and he said they were trying to cheat me. He literally asked if I did some "dukes of hazard jumps " ; and that he couldnt believe they tried to do that to me. My wife and I called many places getting tire prices. I spoke with a very informative woman on the phone. She give us the best deal in town. We were quoted an out the door price, once we got there she took our information once our car was done yep you guessed it. Its was exactly what we were quoted. Thanks will do buisness with you guys again soon.
Zims has always taken amazing care of my family. As far as the 1 negative review I read below....comparing getting a brake job done professionally and putting on cheap pads yourself with no labor cost is the sign of a fool!
First off, the staff are rude as hell and extremely inconsiderate. They are very condescending towards women. Second, my mom got quoted $180 to change rear brake pads. I did it for her for the cost of brake pads ($23 and some change) and about an hour of my time. These guys are a bunch of thieves.
BE WARE!!! Typical gouging automotive repair business. Wanted to charge $260 to install a $12 part that takes 20-30 minutes and has nothing to do with alignment (sway bar end link) before they would even do an alignment. Anyone who is not familiar with sway bar end links, they hook the lower control arms together via a steel bar and help control sway when cornering, when one side becomes broken or unhooked, the bar simply spins up and is ineffective.
