Carla is a wonderful speech therapist for hard of hearing children. She helped me speak clearly, adapt to my cochlear implant, and navigate the challenges that come with growing up with a profound hearing loss. I highly recommend her and her practice to anyone considering speech therapy.

My wife and I have been working with Carla for 14 years with our oldest daughter Valerie and for 11 years with our younger daughter Andrea. Both developed profound bilateral sensorineural hearing loss by 6 months of age. Both have an underlying genetic predisposition for deafness. We’ve had the pleasure of working with Zimmerman Speech and Hearing Services for many years! We have three children with different configurations of hearing loss. We cannot recommend this clinic enough. Every session was personalized to our kids’ individual needs. Carla, was amazing with my grandson. I love the way she keeps his attention and helps him focus on the task at hand. Her knowledge of language and the best way to help him achieve those smaller steps to get him to self correct have helped him to be more understandable. Even his parents had a hard time understanding everything he said. He is so much better now. Our time at Zimmerman Speech, has made his transition into Kindergarten so much better! Thank you so much!!
