Good therapist for member for the LGBTQI+ community.
This lady screamed at me that my husbands usage of non-perscribed morphine and oxycontin was not something that is addictive because she takes them. I walked out. She never provided any treatment plans. Allowed my husband to debase and humiliate me but never resolved the angry words in couples therapy. She should be ashamed of herself. She without a doubt made the husband and the relationship worse.
I was absolutely appalled by Dr. Zimmerman's treatment of my friend and colleague. It takes courage to seek help, and no one deserves to hear the sentences "nobody likes people like you," "your diet is boring," or to be bullied into extra sessions, saying the cost will be 'waved' because you don't want your patient to not get the help that they need, and then harass them about asking their family for financial support. Dr. Zimmerman should be ashamed of herself
