I don't often leave reviews for people, products, vacation spots, etc. But every once in a while I have an experience that warrants one. I visited Dr. Lee in early 2025 to discuss a previously identified issue that had (somewhat expectedly) resurfaced. I believe Dr. Lee saved my life and definitely renewed my confidence and trust in the medical system. During a same day gynecologic surgery at a hospital not affiliated with Northwestern, my ureter was severed but it was not discovered until three weeks later. Dr. Lee and his entire team are the absolute best for complex urology issues. I underwent surgery with Dr. Lee three weeks ago and I’m already seeing marked improvements. He takes his patient’s care seriously and always makes sure his patients are informed. I cannot recommend Dr. Lee and his team enough.
My wife went to Dr. Ziho Lee based his on location and training for a very complex urologic (traumatic ureteral damage with prior surgical failure) problem. Dr. Lee, Chauncey RN, Interventional Radiology and the entire Northwestern team were superb at every level.
