Zielies is currently trimming for XCel Energy in my neighborhood. The work is so inconsistent in my neighborhood that I asked the trimmers today when they returned ( at this time they are like 5 feet into my property chopping away at trees that don't need cutting because they aren't even near the lines.) Hired by Entergy to trim trees near power lines in my neighborhood. Horrible results! Cutting limbs 39 and 4 feet away from the lines! Cutting the entire tops off trees that would never even reach those power lines even at maturity! They don’t care what the neighborhood looks like when they are finished.
Terrible tree service company that takes advantage of Excel Energy. They came out in April '24 to trim trees back 10 feet from the power lines. Then came out today (7-8) and took the same trees completely out to the ground without a contract or proposal from either Excel or us. Dangerous and put our home at risk. Unethical company. Showed up unknowingly.
These guys were in my neighborhood trimming trees for Xcel energy What a mess they leave I wouldn't hire them ever! There's better quality tree trimmers in the area that never leave a mess behind!
If I could give a zero I would. Xcel was replacing power lines. I had requested to be notified ahead before work started. Zielies Tree Svc knocked on my door unannounced and said they needed to move my boat trailer bc they were trimming trees near the power lines. I gave permission and thought nothing of it bc every once in a while trees need trimming.
