I urge potential patients to get a second opinion before committing to this office. I left this practice after getting a second opinion and discovering that ZiekerEye was vastly exaggerating my condition to keep me coming back for weekly follow-up appointments. Their primary tactic was heavy alarmism. I scheduled an appointment with this office expecting to be evaluated by an ophthalmologist, but it was not communicated at any point during scheduling or check-in that I would be seeing an optometrist. I only became aware of this at the end of the visit. The intake experience was also concerning. The assistant did not introduce herself, and the interaction felt abrupt and lacked basic communication, which made it difficult to comfortably provide my medical history.
