We got there and was told it would be a 30 minute wait. After nearly an hour we were finally sat down. Then ignored by everyone but the bus boy who actually provided the best service of the night. After a long wait we got our food. Frankly, I've had better toasted raviolis from my local supermarket frozen food department. They were cooked so Damn hard you could barely eat them. Great atmosphere, awsome service, excellent tradition homemade Italian food, reasonable prices. I come from a traditional Italian family that makes home cooked meals every night instead of eating out. Great restaurant I was impressed.
Had lunch at Zia's yesterday. Hands down the best authentic Italian meal I've had anywhere. We don't live in St. Louis, but we try to make Zia's when we visit. We've never been disappointed.
Stopped in for lunch yesterday and had the daily special. The food was phenomenal and the service was great.
We love it! Went there for the first time on my birthday in June and had a lovely dinner. They brought us an entree to share since I don't eat a great deal, and I loved my virgin strawberry daiquiri! A few months later we were visiting a friend at SLU Hospital and needed a restful dinner so we returned to Zia's. Same waiter and he remembered us! Same great service and good food.
Just had some of the worst Italian food ever. And their GM Cory was unfriendly, wouldn't take ownership or do anything about it. In fact her response was "here's my card if you want to complain, but I'm top of the food chain so it won't do any good". Needless to say we won't be back
Absolutely love the salad! I would definitely reccoment giving them a try!
Staff was phenomenal and the food was exceptional!!! Seafood ravioli and eggplant are spectacular!! Try a Piña Colada!!
