Terrible service – My husband and I went to this restaurant Monday 8/4. We sat and ordered drinks which took a long time to be delivered. We ordered our appetizer and then noticed a party of two sat next to us. The other party apparently got our appetizer and ours came about 5-10 minutes later. The waitress took my husband's order and asked me what I would like. My husband asked what she recommended. She then asked us to wait a brief second while she delivered a check. Delicious local Italian – Searching for a nice spot to take my Italian cuisine-loving cousin on our recent visit "home," I happened upon the reviews for Zia Marie. Always up for a new experience, four of us trooped in on a Wednesday evening. We found a light crowd of diners, a wonderful atmosphere, a gracious wait staff and a delicious dining experience. Great Italian Food – A friend of mine took me to Zia Marie last weekend. The restaurant is surprisingly in a neighborhood off of Shore Drive in Virginia Beach. The food is excellent and the service was great. I had the lasagna, which might be the best lasagna I've ever had. The appetizers were great and were very traditional. I would highly recommend this restaurant to any Italian lover!
