*Editing to add that I continued this care with Dr. Streeter, who is the best! I have been stable for 19 months and counting! Was having a mental health crisis due to PTSD. I am very thankful there is a psychiatric urgent care at the Ashland location. Dr. Snyder was amazing and so understanding. Chris in the crisis support unit really went the extra mile to help me. She was on the phone, then came out and met me when I finally made the choice to come in, and gave me some comfort. She was very honest which I really found important, and I'm really glad that I came in. She celebrated the little victories while I had there, and was the one to see me out when I left. The worst place you could ever send yourself or someone you care about. I had a deeply upsetting experience at this healthcare facility and I feel it's important to share.From the start, the staff were cold, rude, and completely lacking in basic professionalism. Rather than being treated with care or respect, I was made to feel like a nuisance. Proven Treatments to Help. If you say it doesn’t help in any way, you’re lying and that’s between you and God! They serve all required meals plus more at times. Nice rooms. My experience is the patients treat the workers terribly sometimes. I don’t like that at all. Patient acts like they the president or the universe. Patients think workers should serve them like KIngs and queens. Most pay no money for services. Probably tax payers money, yikes. Stay Humble. God Bless.
They send more people away than they help. If you have a problem go elsewhere. A friend was suicidal, and they told her "go to the ER"
