The food is always excellent. The service is great. The music was way too loud to be able to carry on much of a conversation though. I highly recommend it if you are going for the food. If you are hoping to converse with friends though, I'd pick somewhere quieter.
My family found Zen a few months after it opened and it has really gone downhill. It used to be very consistent, but now, every time we go, the crab rangoon is tough and has very little filling, and the chicken katsu is pounded so thin there's hardly any meat; the bag they handed me tonight with two orders of chicken katsu was so light I checked in the car to make sure it wasn't crab rangoon (we don't bother ordering it anymore). Had an amazing experience at Zen Thai and Japanese Cuisine. From the moment we walked in, the customer service was top-tier. Everyone was welcoming, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was absolutely amazing. It was fresh, flavorful, and worth every bite.
