AWESOME fried Dumplings so glad they are in the area
Just what we need here at the beach. The spring rolls and the dumplings were superb. I thought the lemongrass pork vermicelli was good, but needed to be kicked up a notch. Next time I'll ask for extra sauce. My husband enjoyed the beef stew. I'm looking forward to trying the banh mi and the house rice plate.
Very good! As stated above it is nice to have something different in the area. TWO of us went. We shared Saigon Fish Sauce Wings which were well flavored. Lemon Pork Vermicelli was excellent. I was full but kept eating it because it was so good. I could not finish. He got the Vietnamese Beef Stew and as good as it was he could not finish either. Nice size servings.
The food is delicious. The ingredients are fresh and flavorful. Kenny the owner is friendly and loves to share his story of the food and his experience. It feels so comfortable and inviting. Zen is awesome. They take a lot of pride in their new establishment. We will definitely return!!!
Great food! Friendly service! Spring rolls and steamed dumplings were made in house--and were delicious, as was the spicy peanut sauce. Wonderful addition to the beach!!
We had our first dinner at Zen tonite! Fantastic! We had both Spring Rolls, Saigon Fried Rice and the Shaken Beef, all prepared to perfection! Can't wait to try everything else! Best of luck to the new restaurant owners, Keeny and Anna,and all. Gallaghers of Bethay West
THIS in Bethany !!! Food is fresh, healthy. Authentic , and delicious. GREAT service from Jeff. Kenny is a social and talented chef owner. Adds up to a fantastic experience. We had the cucumber salad - spicy hot and wonderful. Real spring rolls best we've had anywhere. Dumplings hand made and steamed in bamboo - not a steamer. Lemongrass pork vermicelli - just awesome. yes they have a liquor license. Try the sake. Everything including the peanut sauce made from scratch. Go. Just go.
FANTASIC! Shrimp chips were a great start to our lunch. For our appetizers we had the taro fries and dumplings (fried, beef) both were amazing, we particularly loved the dumplings. For our meals, I had the basic beef pho and my boyfriend has the house pho (with tendon and meatballs) we fully enjoyed both! Everything was incredible. Our waitress was really sweet and knowledgable about the food. We will be back!
