Pizza joints are a dime a dozen, but this little eatery is a unique Arcadia find. Their pies are made with cornmeal, making for a light, crispy crust thats packed into a deep dish, high steel rimmed pan. Scooped from the pan, patrons can get a variety of classics as well as vegan options with yummy toppings like eggplant, mushrooms and roasted peppers. The red sauce is made from daily hand crushed tomatoes, and the pizzas can even be half baked to be finished off at home!

Amazing pizza. Super fresh ingredients. I am the creator of the Monrovia Facebook page and I just named Zello the official pizza place for our page. Not bad for a page with 10,000 members!
Our family LOVES Zelo's! Their gourmet cornmeal crust pizza is always a hit. The corn and the sausage are my favorites and their beet salad is out of this world! The staff there is super friendly and they always make us feel welcome! Great place! Highly recommend! Neighborhood gem :-)
Very disappointing visit last week, after a long absence. Slow service and a freezing main room detracted from the still-reliable food. Several people were sitting there in heavy coats and hats. But when I put up my hood, not a glimmer of recognition, even to say there was nothing they could do about it. The expansion through the wall a couple of years back has not been good for customers.
We have been patronizing this restaurant since we moved to Monrovia over 6 years ago. Recently we have been disappointed in there customer service. This evening my husband wanted to order extra sauce on his spaghetti and the person who took the order said that he would have to pay an extra $5. Then I wanted a beet salad with no blue cheese because it triggers severe migraines that may send me to the hospital. My husband is battling cancer and he had to go back and pick up a new salad for me because they do not have any type ... read more
I love the beet salad and anyone of their pizzas and pastas. You simply cannot go wrong with Zelo's Pizzeria. If you are in a hurry and want to make a pie to go, just order a fresh made half baked pie - take it home, heat it up you have and fresh hot pizza like no other.
