Edited: I had a recommendation to use this firm for eviction of a tennant for my step mother’s estate. The recommendation came from both my lawyer and the realtor. Overall they did a great job. Eviction notice served. Tenant evicted. My concern and an original poor review was the billing practices. It took 6 months, several phone calls and emails as well as a one star review to receive a check for overages and invoice. I wish I could say I had a pleasant experience with Zelenitz, Shapiro & D’Agostino, P.C., but unfortunately, it was deeply disappointing. In my case, the compensation came from me, the client; Because of that, it’s critical to work with a firm that respects the client and understands you’re paying for a service. They were great until they weren't. I had a recommendation to use this firm for eviction of a tennant for my step mothers estate. The recommendation came from both my lawyer and the realtor. They were paid a retainer of $4,275.00 . I expected that this matter would not goes easy and we would blow through that retainer and then some. We got lucky.
