I purchased organic butter from this store and discovered mold/spoilage shortly after opening it. While the store agreed to refund the product, management showed no concern for the inconvenience, wasted time, or loss of confidence caused by selling a defective food item. What was most disappointing was the dismissive attitude from Manager Helly, who refused any form of compensation or acknowledgment that selling spoiled food is a serious issue. Love Zehrs Hiway Market
I used to love Zehrs...it is sooooo overpriced it's almost unthinkable. I went to Food Basics and while I was there I purchased a bag of Ruffles chips for $2.99...I went to Zehrs directly after to pick up a prescription for my daughter and decided to do a little wander around. I saw that the exact same bag of chips that I just bought for $2.99 was on SALE at $7.99!!!!! This is price gouging at its finest...the owner G.W should be ASHAMED!!! WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND
One of the most expensive stores in the city... Def not for the single person as deals are only when you buy two or more... if buying single cost is ridiculously high... service is terrible, asked one manager lady,(tall, blonde and brown, short hair, terrible attitude) if there were anymore cases (24) of Pepsi in the back as the shelf was empty.... she told me "no" "if there was no more kn the shelf then they were out"... asked a younger worker a few moments later... he went back and brought out a new case...
