I am a young professional working at Anschutz Medical Campus, thinking this would be a convenient place to live. Don't put yourself through the same nightmare. If you’re looking for a company that’ll treat you like just a bag of money, pick Zeal. Tenants be aware: They don’t groom the outside of the property well at all, tons of overgrowth and they most certainly do not shovel snow. Also be aware that when you buy a parking spot, you get the bare minimum, and I was more lucky than my neighbors who physically couldn’t get out of their spots. Rented from Zeal from Jan 15th to July 15th of this year and I cannot stress enough to rent from some other company. To start, they illegally pressured us into signing the lease before the 72 hour response period by threatening to lease it out from under us. Next, they told us before we moved in they didn’t have time to paint or do any repairs from the last tenets and that we would not be held responsible for their damage, this was a straight lie. Brittany, Amanda, Melody, Michale, etc. are sugar sweet until they get your signatiure on a lease. After that, with the exception of the maintenance contractor, it's all horrible. REsistance to providing service is absolute. And, of course, the property management company old standard trick of making up charges out of thin air is their fallback. See a Zeal sign, run. away. If you are a landlord thinking of using these guys, is your reputation worth it? TLDR: Zeal is bad even in a shady industry, walk away. Really.

The showing we had of a house was lovely. James was professional, on time, and charismatic! It was after the showing that communication became radio silent. My husband and I submitted our application and when we got our reports back, there were errors. We tried to call for days, multiple voicemails left, sent emails and text messages to get in contact with someone to ask a few questions regarding the errors.
