I scheduled a bachelorette/birthday party with Zeal Fitness because the bride/birthday girl was very excited about the idea of doing aerial silks! There was a slight mishap with our party time and we were worried we wouldn't be able to attend. Luckily, the team at Zeal was extremely kind and went out of their way to make it up to us. Bought a package and went to several bungee classes. Was hoping for a fun and effective workout. Disappointed, however, as the classes were extremely slow-paced and did not provide a good workout. Fun to do, but not really a “workout.” Instructors are clearly not fitness instructors either. Was hoping for more.
We drove down from Traverse City to attend a bungee class/group. Our class was at 1:30 and we arrived at 1:20. By the time that the instructor was through explaining everything and we got our harnesses on, it was almost 2:00 already. Then she told us we had to hurry up because we had to be out of there by 2:30.. it was kind of disappointing, I thought it was going to be a class with music and dancing and jumping.. and they did specify it is a 1-hour class. I love Zeal!! Such a welcoming and fun community to be apart of. I started here with absolutely zero experience in aerial or frankly working out in general. They offer so many different kinds of classes, especially beginners or Intro! Highly suggest to anyone looking for a fun, alternative way to be active!
Went to Zeal Aerial Fitness for a birthday celebration as it was the closest location to do this activity. Zeal made it very easy to book the date/time and was very good at ensuring all parties signed activity waivers. All safety concerns/rules were explained plain and were easy to understand. The actual activity of aerial fitness: getting harnessed up, attaching to the apparatus, and watching the examples of moves that one could do were all very fun and low impact, not necessarily easy.
