Steer clear. He would not write referrals. I started seeing him after I moved to the area. Prior to his care I was seeing an endocrinologist to help me maintain my diabetes. When I started seeing him, he promptly changed my dosages and my A1C shot up. When I told him I wanted a referral to see an endocrinologist, due to my lab results (about a year of his care) he flat-out refused. Horrible. Lied to me about controlled substance dispensing laws on first visit. Too quick to make assumptions. Goes by medical guidelines to the extreme without listening to patient. Basically ignores complicating conditions.

Was my mothers doctor, He "helped" her with her COPD, shes dead now. Died of lung cancer that was diagnosed too late. Good looking out, Doc.

I've been going to Dr. Dombek for several years. He's personable, and very professional. The man has dedicated nearly half of his life to giving the best care possible. I don't have any complaints. He tells it like, it is. I might not always like to hear the truth but that is why I go to him. Although he NEVER tells you that you HAVE to do anything! He will suggest and recommend. The rest is up to me. I would recommend Dr. Dombek in a heartbeat!

I find Dr Dombek to be an intelligent compassionate professional. He is man I trust and has provided excellent care. His approach is comprehensive and inclusive of the most up to date medical findings and practices. He is respectful and thoughtful to me as a patient and has an amicable manner. He is thorough, easy to approach and listens attentively.

I came to this doctor after my insurance was changed and I no longer have access to my old PCP of 10 years. I been experiencing challenges with allergies which seem to continuously become worse as time progress. I also needed to talk about other conditions to which I need a specialist. Dr Dombek is a disgrace. From the first visit with him I did not have a good feeling. My father who had had a stroke and was left very disabled, became a patient of Dr Dombek after his original PCP retired. Dr Dombek consistently questioned my care giving of my father. He questioned whether I was giving him his meds, how he was eating, how he was caring for himself. My father was very well cared for and he had no reason to think otherwise. Great visit. Actually had a conversation with me and asked about my daily life and work life. Great family doctor. My sister and mother come to him and he checks in on them a lot. Sister had to go to the ER and had a hospital stay and he was there everyday. I very much recommend him.
