Excellent Food and Service! Very knowledgeable staff and the the food was to die for! Their Chicken Marsala and Lobster Ravioli were both original and delicious. I also recommend trying zazios happy hour. How can you beat half off bottle of wines on wednesdays.

I wish so dearly that I could rate this establishment better than a one. It has so many things going for it: the location on the corner of Woodward next to downtown Birmingham is perfect for a date night and a walk around town, the restaurant has an excellent atmosphere, the service is fantastic, and they focus local suppliers on the menu. However, all of these good things were completely outweighed once we ate our first course at Zazios. The food destroys this potential independent. Wish I could write a good review too....but cannot. Went to dinner with 5 of my girlfriends for a girls night. I was willing to pay for a good meal, but a good meal was not what I got. I ordered the half portion of the eggplant and it was not good. I love eggplant and in all the times I have ordered it, it has never been hard. Also, my half order was given to me and charged as a full order. I of course did not want to make a stink at the table so dealt with it.
